Love this article, Nikki. You're absolutely correct that the most important thing is that Black women, and everyone, find someone who loves them and elevates them as they deserve.

What's interesting is, I heard the same argument recently from a white man, but in reverse: he claimed that he saw too many images of white women dating Black men, and called it an "agenda" too! I'm wondering if there's an element at play here of men trying to claim ownership of "their" women.

Side note: I'm in an interracial relationship and personally I love seeing representation of it!
